Welcome to the England Golf Partnership Golf Volunteer Awards 2013.

These awards are designed to recognise, celebrate and reward outstanding volunteers in golf.

Seven different volunteer categories are available. The individuals are chosen as representative of the body of volunteers who contribute their time and effort, throughout the sport of golf in this country, within golf clubs, schools, county golf partnerships, training schemes and many other programmes.

Anyone involved with golf or in partnership with the sport can nominate an individual for any of the seven categories that the nominee is eligible for.

The person making the nomination must complete the nomination form prior to the closing date of 14th December 2012.

Winners will be presented with their awards at a ceremony to be held at The National Golf Centre, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, in February 2013.

Category

Young Golf Volunteer of the Year under 18.
Young volunteer of the year (under 18 on 10th February 2013). They are reliable, trustworthy and have made a valuable contribution to your club, school or schools golfing programme.

Golf Volunteer of the Year aged 18 - 25.
Young volunteer of the year (under 25 on the 10th February 2013).
They are reliable, trustworthy and have made a valuable contribution to your club, county or community glofing programme.

Golf Volunteer Coach of the Year.
A coach who has shown commitment to developing players and developing the game of golf. This award is open to PGA qualified professionals and level 1 & 2 coaches who work on a voluntary basis or undertake work for which they are being nominated for as a volunteer.

Club Development.
A club volunteer who makes an outstanding contribution to the running of the club and developing new opportunities for people to start and stay in a vibrant golfing environment.

County Development.
A county volunteer who makes an outstanding contribution to the running of the County Union, County Association or County Golf Partnership in developing new opportunities for golfers to develop.

Services to Golf / Lifetime Achievement (male).
Outstanding achievement to recognise an extraordinary contribution to volunteering in golf over a sustained period of time.

Outstanding achievement to recognise an extraordinary contribution to volunteering in golf over a sustained period of time.
