The golf volunteering programme provides an exciting opportunity for anyone to get involved in golf volunteering whether it is at a school club or within the community setting.
The programme is open to all volunteers providing opportunities and incentives that give new and experienced volunteers recognition for the hours of volunteering that they have given to the game. Read on

U18 Volunteer of the year

Danielle, aged 14 years, took on responsibility for the juniors girls at Tapton Park last year. She was the first winner of the Tapton Park Young Leader Award in 2008. As well as supporting the girls golf programme, she finds time to play top level golf and has been named as Captain of the Derbyshire County Girls Team for 2009.

The Gallacher Award for the volunteer of the year - 21 May 2009

The Gallacher Award for the volunteer of the year was presented to Cheryl Pawley of Cookridge Hall Golf Club in Leeds. Through Cheryl’s work Cookridge Hall became the first golf club in the North East of England to achieve GolfMark accreditation.
